Flow-range selection
State continuous vs intermittent duty, target ml/min or l/h band, max intermittent rate, and whether the drive must hold a set point under back-pressure. We match the peristaltic pump drive class (variable-flow when needed) to that band on the RFQ — no site-wide flow chart.
RPM ↔ flow (formula level)
For a given tube ID and roller geometry, volumetric flow scales roughly with pump speed: Q ≈ k × RPM, where k is the volume displaced per revolution at your tube/roller set. Confirm k on a calibrated run with the actual tube lot. We do not publish a fake ml/rev table here.
Tubing ID / wall selection
ID sets the displaced volume; wall and duro affect occlusion life and suction. Name fluid, temperature, and continuous vs pulse duty so we quote tube material and size — not a one-size catalog hose.
Calibration & pulse work
Weigh or graduate a timed catch, then lock RPM/stroke on the controller. For pulse dosing, record pulse volume and dead volume in the line. Longer notes: calibration guide.
Metering vs peristaltic
A diaphragm pump or solenoid metering unit suits high pressure and known stroke volume; peristaltic suits shear-sensitive fluids, easy tube change, and gentle transfer. Do you publish a numeric flow–RPM table?
No. Displacement per revolution depends on tube ID, roller set, and wear. We quote after duty data or a sample calibration run.
Is this medical or IV dosing equipment?
No. Copy covers industrial additive, water-treatment, and OEM transfer. We do not claim clinical, IV, or drug-delivery use.
